My name is Carissa and I throw pots! In 2022 I moved from Calgary to California. I took a beginner pottery class to make friends and fill the evenings. I fell in love with it almost immediately, spending countless hours at the studio getting mucky. In 2025 I moved back to Calgary.

An accountant by day, ceramics gives me a creative outlet. My favourite thing about it is the way it requires all of my physical and mental focus. I am always learning and developing new skills, but I hope seeing my work so far brings you some of the joy and calm that pottery brings me.
